Which players were selected for the pundit's English top-flight top performers lineup?

Following each fixture of Premier League fixtures in the current term, sports analyst Troy Deeney presents his lineup and coach of the Week.

Presented here are the most recent picks. Are you in agreement? Share your thoughts using the response area below.

Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): His team were close to being trailing by six at Bournemouth without him. Key display, rose to the occasion and showed some quality. Some top goalkeeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. A loss might have ruined their campaign.

Defenders

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for top performer. People will talk about Arsenal players. He is the top performer without doubt.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): You'd have been a crazy Forest fan to say 'Murillo nets and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got long shots on that. He was excellent. He's becoming a force. He is truly a challenge. I'm happy to observe his form similar to before.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times last year in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties from his faults. Yet now he's been dominant. He's been great strength and powerful and seems polished. It looks like he's found a perfect fit.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a full-back, rather a attacking-minded going forward. He has proven to be a excellent acquisition for Brighton. It's no shock at them discovering another star from obscurity? Many felt releasing Pervis Estupinan it was odd but the Seagulls understand better than most.

Midfielders

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they make it for the same reason. Their teams won, many mention those who netted, but without these two the sides struggle. They excel. They disrupt opposition, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. Numerous supporters, including my son, expressed skepticism about his ability as the man to secure victory. Three goals in the north London derby and now they want to honor him permanently of him. Scoring, calmness, he ran the show. The top performer on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it's going to be extremely tough to leave him out. My view was his beginning was strong this campaign, I think he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could join to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he appears to have found his footing. A brilliant brace obviously against Leeds helped his club from a deficit. He proved decisive.

Strikers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he doesn't look his usual standard. He looked like he was slower. However, incredible. Words fail me. He was excellent. Phenomenal in his approach and in his dual goals.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He excels, usually better off the bench, but with Gordon sidelined so he has to play. He failed to convert a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. Yet possessing the inner resilience to put himself in challenging moments and net two was remarkable.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and outperforms Arne Slot. A excellent strategy. Possibly it was several more for Forest and few would dispute.
